Dea Kulumbegashvili's short film "Léthé" premieres at the Directors’ Fortnight

"Léthé" - a new short film by award-winning Georgian director Dea Kulumbegashvili will premiere at the Directors’ Fortnight, which runs alongside the famous Cannes Film Festival in France in May. Kulumbegashvili made history after her first film "Invisible Spaces" was the first Georgian work to be selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Now her latest short film "Léthé" will be presented along with another 10 short projects by directors from around the world at the 48th annual Directors’ Fortnight.

The feature film project of the director Dea Kulumbegashvili - "DAISI" received in March at 13th edition of SOFIA MEETINGS the Grand Prix for Best Project in the main sections, presented for the first time by NU BOYANA FILM STUDIOS. Тhe largest film production studio in Eastern Europe will back up the project "DAISI" with a prize of 50 000 Euro in services and a cheque for 5 000 Euro. The award was presented to the director Dea Kulumbegashvili and the producers Rati Oneli and Jim Stark.
