The film tells the stories of five people, each of them shot within 24 hours. The protagonists are modern day Bulgarians – a young businessman, an odd type living alone in the forest, a retired couple from a Bulgarian village, a paraglider pilot and a family facing different challenges every day. 24 Hours is a film about love, success, happiness, adventures, sorrow and pain. There are no interviews or set scenes in it.

“We tried to remain outside observers and show the true situation and life of the protagonists, Kiril Stankov says, At the same time we wanted to create a film of high visual and sound quality, with a very filmic aesthetics and a specially composed sound track.”

The film’s idea is to focus on optimism and people’s ability to survive in difficult moments. “You should never give up, you should always keep going and do what you like with love. Even in difficult times humanity and love can help us overcome even the greatest difficulties, keep going and not give up”.
