Ryuzo used to rule the streets of Tokyo. Now in retirement, he can only reminisce about the good old days. But when his son gets into trouble, the old yakuza boss grabs the phone. Seven of his most trusted henchmen come to the capital in response to his summons. The old men aren't as fit as they used to be, but they still have their code of honour and would still give their lives for one another. A sentimental journey into the past turns into a confrontation between the old and the young yakuza gangsters. The cast includes two legendary Japanese actors, Takeshi Kitano and Tatsuya Fuji. The comedy was a box office hit in Japan.
