This is a film about a boy from a distant Bosnian village, whose life collides with the important historic events in the region. About his short-lived but important appearance on the stage of these events. About the way higher political interests and justice use a humble man’s life in the name of supreme democracy, but then denounce him. A film about a contemporary sacrifice.

Writer and director of 15 documentary and 3 feature films. Her films have won numerous awards at home and abroad. The best known documentary titles include Year of 1990 (1991), Possible Distances (1992), Murder Stories (1993) and feature films Letter to America (2001), Investigation (2006) and The Prosecutor, The Defender, The Father and His Son (2015). The last film won best project award in Sofia Meetings in Sofia and Crossroads in Thessaloniki in 2008, also Krzysztof Kieslowski ScripTeast Award for Best Script 2011. The Prosecutor, The Defender, The Father and His Son’s world premiere is in Tallinn’s Black Nights IFF.
