What are your dreams at 18 and what happens in the next 20 years? Bulgaria, 1995. A group of classmates are graduating from high school. They are exuberant on their prom night. They believe in their dreams like only 18-year-olds who have witnessed the fall of communism and know the value of freedom do. But their country is still in turmoil, which will continue for the next 20 years. What will happen with the friends? Children of the Silent Revolution is a unique journey into the lives of these classmates, following their paths over a period of two decades.  As one of the circle of friends, the filmmaker also shares her personal story and quest for happiness during the past 20 years.
