A bride on the run from her murderous husband-to-be stumbles upon a ghost town in the middle of the desert, a surreal landscape that once served as setting for Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns, whose inhabitants still dream of being film extras. When she takes a job as a housekeeper for the local eccentric, she soon discovers that she is working for none other than Claudia Cardinale. As the two women embark on a friendship. Add to the mix a lovesick cowboy and a local mystic Indian and cinema and reality merge. And when the evil man appears, everything becomes  just like in s movie.
