Karim Aïnouz is a Brazilan film director whose first feature Madame Satã premiered in 2002 at the Cannes Film Festival – Un Certain Regard and has won over 40 prizes at national and international film festivals. In 2012 he was invited to be a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival for the Cinéfoundation and Short Films sections.
